Event Description: The Hollywood Music in Media Awards & Conference (HMMA) is the premiere destination for artists to be recognized, stand out, get the connections they need to make money and advance careers! The HMMA is the only event of its kind, honoring the music of visual mediums (film, TV, video games, movie trailer, commercials, etc.) and the music of indie artists around the globe! It is also the ONLY awards that has categories for Outstanding Music Supervision! Every month, new winners are announced on the site for nearly every style of music. The lucky winners, as selected by premiere Hollywood brass, are automatically nominated for the chance at winning their category at the Main Awards Event (November 17) at The Highlands, located at the world renowned Hollywood & Highland/Kodak Theater Center in Hollywood, CA. All submissions will be reviewed and monthly winners will be announced online under the "Awards" tab. Award winners will be chosen from the monthly nominees and presented at the Main Event and posted online thereafter. Artists are encouraged to Submit as many songs as they wish in multiple categories to increase their chances of Nomination. Even if an artist can't be at the main event in November (but they really should if possible!) they can still win and enjoy all of the benefits of being a HMMA winner! Nominees that attend the awards show will receive HD video coverage, Celebrity Red Carpet walk in front of mainstream press & media and the opportunity to connect with the music industry's top music supervisors, producers, composers, directors and publishers!
