The Guitar Shop TV Showcase is a video feature is an exciting new opportunity for talented Indie bands and solo artists to be discovered by Guitar Shop TV's worldwide audience, gain exposure, and dramatically increase their fan base. One ReverbNation artist per month will be invited on Guitar Shop TV to be interviewed, perform, and appear on the same episode with some of the top celebrities and stars of the guitar and music world. Past winners have been featured with icons such as Steven Tyler. When submitting your ReverbNation Press Kit (RPK), make sure you have at least one video of your best original work.
Besides having the chance to reach a large new market via the fast-growing medium of web TV, appearances on Guitar Shop TV are also a great way for bands to promote their music, events, and products with viewers around the world. Monthly winners are posted at Guitarshoptv.com.
Selection Criteria: Original video and Overall talent
Here's how it works:
- All contestants must be 18 years old or older or have reached the age of majority as determined by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the entrant resides at time of Submission.
- Employees and immediate family members of Guitar Shop TV and ReverbNation are not eligible to enter.
- All Submissions must meet the following requirements:
(1) Entrant(s) cannot be signed to a recording label;
(2) Submissions must be original musical works (or you have the required permission to any third party material);
(3) All works must be a maximum of five minutes in length and submitted via RPK (main focus is a video audition using YouTube); and
(4) Submissions must fulfill one or more of the following category criteria: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Country, Metal, Fusion, Urban, Funk/R&B, Alternative, World Music, Christian, or Classical.
By submitting your ReverbNation Press Kit all contestants acknowledge that they have read and accept the Artist Showcase Contest Rules and Privacy Policy.
