After Effects CC 2023 is here!

Adobe MAX is in full swing, and that means new versions of all of the Creative Cloud apps. You can watch the keynote here if you want to see a ton of new features for the apps, but we were really interested to see what showed up inside of After Effects.

What showed up was:

A brand new track matte system that is a huge improvement
New keyframe organization and navigation options
Lots of quality-of-life improvements
And a couple of beta features that are mind-blowing (native 3D?)
