 | | Meet Mariola Galavis, the owner of two successful School of Rock locations in Connecticut. Mariola immigrated to the United States from Venezuela and after getting her MBA from MIT, she pursued a career in management consulting.
After 6 years of sitting behind a desk, she began questioning her true purpose in life and chose to leave her career to raise her sons. Her oldest son took up an interest in drums, and Mariola enrolled both herself and her son in music lessons at School of Rock.
After seeing the positive effects of the program on her family, she realized she could lean into her business background and own a School of Rock location. Now, she is the owner of two schools, and has given hundreds of students "a place where they belong and a place to grow in confidence".
