🎙 New Adobe Premiere Feature Cleans Up Garbage Audio

Adobe Premiere Pro's latest beta introduces AI-powered audio editing features, aiming to simplify tasks like tool location and dialogue cleanup. The update includes interactive fade handles for seamless custom audio transitions. The Enhanced Speech feature, which is coming out of beta, helps clean up speech in audio, even if the quality is terrible. AI-driven audio category tagging automatically labels clips, now with an interactive badge for efficient tool access. Redesigned clip badges streamline the application of audio effects, enhancing overall editing efficiency. These updates represent a more Firefly AI integration into Premiere Pro's audio editing capabilities.

🦷 New Script for Affinity/Figma Vector Import to AE

A new script over at the lovely folks at aescripts + plugins called 'ToothPaste' dropped that makes working with SVGs in After Effects easy! With ToothPast you can simply copy an SVG from other apps such as Figma, Affinity Designer, Sketch and more, and paste the code as shape layers inside After Effects with the click of a button. 🆓 Ordinary Folk Releases Extraordinary Free AE Tool

Those nice folks over at Ordinary Folk just released a handy and well thought out After Effects script that helps you wrangle shape layers and the best part is...it's free! Called 'ShapeRig', it's a tool built to control shape layer paths in AE. With it, you can simply duplicate or delete point control nulls to add or remove path points; scale and rotate them to add curves. It's a nice extension of the built in "Create Nulls from Path Points" feature.

🖼 Rive Updates Include Interactive Artboards

The hottest app on the block, Rive, just released a new update and includes a laundry list of changes and bug fixes. The main headliners are the ability to dynamically adjust the art board stage to directly adjust art board dimensions and the ability to import SVGs with text. Is 2024 the year of Rive?
